Julie is a good friend of mine and I always jump at the opportunity to photograph her family because her kids are awesome! They listen to everything I tell them and they're super photogenic. Find a bad photo here of them, I dare you!
I've been so busy shooting this season that I've been completely neglecting the website (sorry). So, to catch you up... I've been all over the Philadelphia area shooting families, newborns, engagements, maternity sessions, and even a few parties. I've met lots of great new clients, caught up with a few old ones, and even got to shoot some pictures of my beautiful niece. Here are a few of my favorites from the spring sessions.
Fall is starting to wind down, there aren't many leaves left on the trees, and I can finally catch my breath. This fall has been super hectic but a ton of fun! I'm a little behind on posting to the blog, so instead of posting a bunch of session updates like I normally do, I've picked a few of my favorite photos from the sessions that I missed.
I really struggled with this session... or I guess more accurately, I would say I struggled with this blog post. I struggled to limit the number of pictures that I love to a reasonable amount. More to come on that, but first, the story.... For this location, Rachel, Scott, Zoe and I decided to explore Curtis Arboretum, which was a new location for me. It turned out to be a perfect spot. The Arboretum was really scenic, the weather was a perfect 65 degrees, and the leaves were nice and bright. The only frustrating part of the session was that a track coach was meandering around behind where we were trying to shoot. He took his good old time setting up his cones while the perfectly lit sky was fading. Despite his efforts to sabotage our pics, we got some great shots. My absolute favorite part of the session was Zoe's mesmerizing blue eyes. See for yourself in the pictures.
Meet Grace Flora - with cameo appearances from Sam and Winston, the bulldog. Grace was only a few days old at the time of the shoot, and she was a bit camera shy at first. She decided to take a nap right in the middle of the shoot... what nerve! In the end, she was a good sport, and we got some great pictures.
