Blog readers… meet Theodore. Usually, most newborn photo sessions are done in the first few weeks. However, for this session, Theodore was already a month old. It made the session super fun because he was alert, and a little bit expressive already. I love the range of expressions in these photos.
It's been a while! I've been neglecting my website for a bit and concentrating on photography and my family. Now it's time to get back on the horse and get some content up on the site!
I had the chance to photography this cute newborn! He was awake and alert the entire session and he was making the funniest facial expressions I've ever seen. I love it when a newborn's personality comes through in the photos! Also, how cool are these dogs, Bacon and Ham?
I've been so busy shooting this season that I've been completely neglecting the website (sorry). So, to catch you up... I've been all over the Philadelphia area shooting families, newborns, engagements, maternity sessions, and even a few parties. I've met lots of great new clients, caught up with a few old ones, and even got to shoot some pictures of my beautiful niece. Here are a few of my favorites from the spring sessions.
These 6 (including the dog, Charlotte) were a lot of fun to shoot with. They were definitely the most relaxed parents of twins that I've come across. Besides a little incident while shooting without diapers, the session went pretty smooth. The bedroom light was just magical and created some awesome images. Take a look for yourself.
Fall is starting to wind down, there aren't many leaves left on the trees, and I can finally catch my breath. This fall has been super hectic but a ton of fun! I'm a little behind on posting to the blog, so instead of posting a bunch of session updates like I normally do, I've picked a few of my favorite photos from the sessions that I missed.
Check out adorable little Layla! Mike and Kristen are right in the middle of completely renovating their house. Since it's November, and a little too cold outside for a newborn, we decided we'd figure out how to make their house work for the session. We did the entire shoot inside Layla's nursery. It was a lot of fun to figure out how to be creative with the limited space. Ultimately, I think we got some really great pictures. It also helps to have three great subjects!
World, meet baby Henrik, baby Henrik, meet the world. This session was a lot of fun! Henrik was alert and looking around the whole time. It's like he already knew how to pose for pictures. The only picture that he wouldn't pose for was the one single picture that Lelah requested. He had a meltdown when we tried it. Go figure.
Meet Grace Flora - with cameo appearances from Sam and Winston, the bulldog. Grace was only a few days old at the time of the shoot, and she was a bit camera shy at first. She decided to take a nap right in the middle of the shoot... what nerve! In the end, she was a good sport, and we got some great pictures.
